Contract: Long-Term (with strong potential to become permanent)
Pay: £165 – £245 per day (dependent on experience)
Hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm | Full-Time

A well-regarded, Ofsted-rated “Good” secondary school close to the heart of Salisbury is looking to appoint a passionate Science Teacher from January on a long-term basis. With the school continuing to expand, this role offers an exciting opportunity to secure a permanent position for the right candidate.

You’ll be joining a collaborative, forward-thinking department committed to delivering high-quality, engaging Science education across Key Stages 3 and 4.

• Teaching Science across KS3 and KS4, adapting lessons to meet varied learning needs.

• Planning and delivering dynamic, practical lessons that inspire curiosity and achievement.

• Tracking progress, offering constructive feedback, and supporting students to reach their potential.

• Creating a positive, safe, and ambitious classroom culture.

• Working closely with the Science team and contributing to wider school initiatives.

• Mixed 11–16 secondary school with approx. 850 students, continuing to grow.

• Ofsted-rated “Good”, with a strong reputation for inclusion and high expectations.

• Supportive leadership team committed to professional development and staff wellbeing.

• Excellent location near central Salisbury with convenient transport links.

• Qualified Teacher with UK QTS, or working towards QTS.

• Experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4.

• Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
