A specialist setting in Salisbury is seeking a dedicated and resilient SEMH Teaching Assistant to support pupils across both primary and secondary age groups. This full-time role begins on 3rd November 2025 and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEMH needs.
- Assist teachers in delivering tailored learning activities and managing classroom behaviour.
- Build positive relationships with pupils to support emotional regulation and engagement.
- Work collaboratively with staff, families, and external professionals to promote pupil wellbeing.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs.
- A calm, empathetic, and proactive approach to behaviour support.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work full-time from 3rd November 2025.
