About the Role

We’re looking for a proactive and detail-driven Administrator to support our busy Engineering Department. This is a varied and hands-on office-based role, perfect for someone who enjoys structure, thrives on organisation, and likes working with both people and systems.

You’ll be the central coordination point for maintenance administration, stock control, CMMS updates, and contractor management- helping to keep the department running smoothly and efficiently.

  • Conduct and update COSHH risk assessments using Safety Data Sheets (SDS).

  • Coordinate department risk assessments and Safe Systems of Work (SSOW) training.

  • Schedule and manage contractor and service visits, including RAMS and permit-to-work processes.

  • Coordinate and maintain training records for engineering staff.

  • Provide general administrative support- filing compliance documents, arranging inductions, and supporting meetings.

About You

Essential:

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills

  • Full, clean UK driving licence and access to own vehicle

Desirable:
