Mane Infrastrucure are on the look for a number of Electrical Improvers to work as part of a team on a highways tunnelling upgrade project located in Cornwall.
As an electrical improver, you need to have a valid NVQ in electrical installation, as well as a valid ECS card as a minimum. Due to the nature of the installations within this project, IPAF 3a 3b would be highly desirable.
Applicants will be required to undertake the phased replacement of low voltage (LV) equipment and cabling systems both within and associated with the A38 road tunnel. The critical works will involve the replacement and upgrade of the existing electrical infrastructure to ensure safety, reliability and compliance with current standards.
Applicants will be responsible for the meticulous planning and execution of tasks, including the installation of new cabling, testing and commissioning of LV apparatus, all while minimising disruptions to the tunnels operations.
The 410m tunnel will be closed for night closures during the refurbishment.
Working Hours:
Days - 07:00am till16:00pm
Nights - 20:00pm till 05:00am
They will be parking available on site.
