Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistants to work across a range of primary schools, supporting children from Early Years through to Year 6. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in a variety of settings, build strong relationships with local schools, and make a real difference in the classroom.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Support teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
  • Work with individual pupils or small groups to support learning and development
  • Assist with classroom preparation and behaviour management
  • Provide tailored support for children with additional needs (if required)
  • Help maintain a safe and positive learning environment

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a primary school setting (preferred but not essential)
  • A proactive, positive, and flexible attitude
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
