We have a fantastic opportunity for aSous Chefto join our passionate award-winning team at theSeaview Restaurantin the beautiful setting of Saltburn by the sea.

Guests can choose from an array of classic seafood dishes using the finest produce available. A fantastic showcase of the highest quality British produce in the most dramatic seaside location.


AsSous Chefyou will:

  • Assist the Head Chef/Executive Chef to manage the day-to-day operation of the kitchen whilst supervising and developing the brigade.
  • You will ensure the highest standards of food preparation, quality and delivery, as well as effective communication across all sections of the kitchen.
  • Monitor and control ordering and stock
  • Full Compliance with all Food Safety and Health & Safety standards
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef/Head Chef with Menu planning and development brining your culinary expertise and knowledge to a high performing kitchen brigade

The successful candidate will:

  • Be insanely passionate about delivering high quality, seasonal food
  • The motivation and leadership skill to represent the Seaview Restaurant Brand and its recognised hospitality standards
  • Previous experience as a Sous Chef within a premium high-volume quality restaurant, preferably with more than one establishment.
  • Comprehensive culinary knowledge previous experience of working in a Grill concept is desirable as well as pastry section.
  • A solid understanding of classic cooking methods and seasonality, as well as an ability to innovate and create when needed
  • A keen eye for detail to ensure delivery of the standards and the highest levels of food quality at all times
  • A strong personality, with confidence and enthusiasm to lead the team alongside the Executive Chef/Head Chef in the day to day running of the kitchen
  • Be able to effectively lead, manage, motivate and develop a team while enhancing their skill level
