White Label Recruitment are seeking a dynamic and experienced Principal Piping Designer to join fast growing and dynamic team in the Chester Area, If you have a minimum of 10 years' experience in piping design, with a strong background in Oil and Gas, Petrochemical, and Power Projects, we want to hear from you. What You'll Be Doing:
As a Principal Piping Designer, your responsibilities will include:
- Producing and coordinating 3D piping designs, plant layouts, isometrics, and pipe support drawings.
- Leading small teams and providing administrative oversight of assigned piping personnel.
- Providing piping design and drafting services for piping systems.
- Utilising Autodesk Plant 3D for accurate 3D modelling.
- Maintaining CAD and equipment files.
- Completing site survey activities to gather information.
- Ensuring all drafting and design requirements are met.
- Promoting quality control and participating in regular quality audits.
- Reviewing vendor data for a wide range of piping equipment.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in Piping Design Engineering.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Recap, Navisworks, PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Experience with 3D design using Plant 3D and Navisworks.
- Strong knowledge of Industry Piping Codes and materials commonly used.
- Background in piping layouts and design procedures.
- Experience in the Oil & Gas and/or Petrochemical Industry.

- Working Hours: 40 hours (flexitime from 7 am to 6 pm)
- Holiday: 28 days including 8 days of Bank Holidays, increasing with service.
- Overtime: Paid at an hourly rate equivalent and can be exchanged for time off.
- Travel: Hotel and food expenses paid, mileage at £0.45 per mile.
