Lead M&E Engineer - IND2
TXM Recruit are working in partnership with one of the UK’s leading facilities management companies to recruit a Lead M&E Engineer, to work on a commercial contract within York.
The job will cover general weekly, monthly and quarterly checks, planned and unplanned maintenance duties as well as supervisory duties for the M&E Engineers on site.
· Schedule - 4 days on, 4 days off
· Working hours – Rotating days (6am - 6pm) & nights (6pm - 6am)
· Salary - £42,840/Yr. + £3,595/shift allowance (£46,075/yr)
70% Hands-On Engineering –
- PPMs on commercial electrical systems
- Electrical repairs to mechanical systems
- Diagnostics and fault finding, Rectifying faults on site
- You will also be asked to support with minor fabric work within the facility.
30% Support Duties –
- Supporting 3/5 M&E engineers, ensuring they know what they are doing and keeping records of issues and jobs.
- Keep the internal system up to date
- Manage deliveries and materials including ordering anything new.
- To complete relevant HR processes including notification of absence, holiday management, training needs and completion of timesheets
