Setting out Engineer
Start Date - 9th July 2025
£375 per day CIS, £280 per day PAYE
Isle of Wight
We are working on a large industrial project on the Isle of Wight and we are looking for a setting out engineer to join the existing site team. This is a long term position running until February 2026. Applicants must be fully qualified and experienced.
As a Setting Out Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Setting Out
- Preparing and analysing data for set out
- Utilise modern survey methods and survey devices such as Total Station, GPS and Data Collectors
- Maintain strong Health & Safety standards
- Build and maintain relationships with clients ensuring we deliver projects to exact customer requirements
Job Requirements;
- Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- 3+ years experience site based setting out (preferable Civils background)
- Fully conversant with the use of Total Station, EDM instruments, GPS, etc to complete accurate set out
- Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative when required
- Good communication skills and reliable individual.
Standard Hours: Monday to Friday 7:30am - 5pm
