TPF Recruitment, Kent’s leading accountancy practice recruitment agency is recruiting for an Accounts Senior to join a fantastic, chartered accountancy practice in Sandwich, Kent. This firm is currently experiencing growth and can offer excellent future progression prospects. It will be a hands-on, client facing position, where you can maintain a good work life balance.

 

As an Accounts Senior your responsibilities will include the following:

  • Prepare accounts for sole traders, partnerships and ltd companies.
  • Prepare client tax returns and advise on tax payable and payment dates
  • Bookkeeping, ledger maintenance, supplier maintenance and management accounts, as and when required
  • Proactively liaise with clients to obtain relevant information, ensuring attention to detail
  • Monitor own job quality and quantity in line with agreed budgets, meeting these targets and exceeding where possible
  • Support trainees by providing on the job coaching
  • Assisting clients with accounts software and other queries as required
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants will have the following skills, experience, and attributes:

  • Be ACA or ACCA qualified or qualified by experience
  • Be IT literate, preferably with knowledge of Iris, and/or Sage, Xero or Quickbooks
  • Have excellent communication, listening and problem-solving skills
  • Highly organised and self-motivated
Benefits
  • £30,000 - £40,000 dependent on experience and background, negotiable
  • 25 days annual leave + 8 days for bank holiday
