We are working with a primary school in the Sandy area who are looking for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant with SEND experience for a long-term/temp-to-perm basis. This role is to start as soon as possible on an ongoing/permanent basis.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting individual pupils or small groups with their learning
  • Assisting teachers with classroom setup, resources, and activities
  • Helping children feel safe, included, and confident in the classroom
  • Working with SEN pupils, adapting support to meet their needs
  • Being a calm, caring presence throughout the school day

Requirements

  • A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Experience working with children in a primary or early years setting
  • SEND Experience
  • A positive, patient, and proactive approach
  • The ability to build strong relationships with both children and staff
  • A flexible attitude – happy to take on both short-term and long-term roles
