A multi-skilled assembler/fitter is required by a long-established and respected engineering manufacturing company. This interesting role is to work on various types of assembly and fitting to a high standard for equipment used in the food processing industry.Â
Mechanical Fitter - Job Responsibilities:- Assemble, install, repair, and maintain mechanical systems, equipment, and machinery.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
- Perform inspections to identify any faults or malfunctions and troubleshoot issues.
- Conduct scheduled maintenance tasks and ensure machinery operates efficiently.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments for work.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Adhere to safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in mechanical assembly and repair techniques.
- Ability to work with precision and attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment.
 Salary & Benefits:
- Hourly wage ranging from £16,00 to £18,00
