CNC Turners & CNC Millers
16-19 per hour
Day Shift | Four-Day Working Week (Mon-Thurs)

If so, Impact Recruitment is seeking CNC Turners and CNC Millers to join a forward-thinking precision engineering team offering structured training, flexibility, and excellent career prospects. The site is easily accessible from Bedford, Cambridge, St Neots and neighbouring areas.
You will be responsible for setting CNC machines to ensure efficient workflow, high-quality output, and consistent accuracy. Working closely with colleagues across the shop floor, you will support safe, effective production while continuing to build your technical expertise through an established training framework.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set CNC lathes or mills accurately for production
  • Maintain safe, well-organised working practices
  • Support smooth workflow with basic troubleshooting
  • Use mechanical measurement systems to verify components
  • Assist with quality checks and SPC activities where required
  • Communicate clearly and effectively across the team

What You Bring

  • CNC machine setting experience (turning or milling)
  • Strong understanding of mechanical measurement tools
  • Positive, proactive attitude with good communication skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and resolve basic issues
  • CNC programming experience (advantageous)
  • Familiarity with SPC or quality systems (beneficial)
