We are seeking a dedicated and experienced English Teacher to join an outstanding secondary school in Nottinghamshire, starting in September 2025. This full-time role is contracted until at least July 2026. The successful English Teacher will teach English across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging and effective lessons aligned with the national curriculum. Part-time applicants will be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons as an English Teacher for KS3 and KS4.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to support development.
  • Contribute to the wider school community, including participation in extracurricular activities and house competitions.
  • Uphold the school's ethos of respect, collaboration, and excellence.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience working as an English Teacher at KS3 and KS4.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Enhanced DBS check or willingness to apply for one.
