Manpower is recruiting for a Document Services Provider to support one of our Leading printing and services provider in the UK, based in Edinburgh, Fountainbridge.

This is a temporary role with the potential to move over to the client on a permanent basis at the end of assignment, based on performance. This role is physical at times and requires some heavy lifting. Please consider this before applying.

All candidates must complete external vetting checks before beginning employment with our client.

Pay & Weekly Hours:

13.00 Per Hour- 375 Hours a week - Weekly Pay
Shifts are on a rotational basis as listed below:

Week 1 - Monday to Friday - 08:00 - 16:30
Week 2 - Monday to Friday 09:30 - 18:00

Key responsibilities and roles:

  • You will demonstrate pride and professionalism in all facets of customer service and be accountable for your work.
  • You will ensure that all required records are completed and maintained and provided upon request to customers and/or the management team including volumes, KPI performance, Incident management and stock level information.
  • Supporting the DSTL, you will support the introduction of service enhancements and developments and will respond to customer requests, enquiries and complaints in a prompt and efficient manner, meeting demands pro-actively
  • Using your excellent communication skills, you will communicate with customers consistently and will have the confidence by asking, to understand their needs as well as promote the services being offered and providing feedback.
  • Having a flexible approach to work, you may be asked to undertake any reasonable ad hoc duties as requested by the DSTL or Senior Management, including standing in for the next level of management
  • To effectively receive mail, sort & distribute to client within agreed SLA.
  • To frank & despatch all outgoing mail within SLA.
  • To process courier packages ensuring secure storage of customer possessions upon receipt.
  • To ensure that total quality management controls, are maintained throughout the various aspects of the operation.
  • To contribute & maintain a positive team spirit.
  • You will inform the Document Services Team Leader (DSTL) if overall workload and completion of key work is unachievable
  • To be aware of and maintain a safe working process related to Health & Safety COSHH regulations.
  • Responsible for the loading/unloading of lorries and directing the movement of other plant.
  • Daily check to ensure Loading Bay clear and deliveries have been collected
