Are you looking to join a leading electrical manufacturing company with a vibrant culture and a supportive team environment? We're hiring Assembly Operatives to join our dynamic production facility in Eastfield.
What You'll Be Doing:As an Assembly Operative, you'll be a key part of our manufacturing process. Your responsibilities will include:
- Following standardised procedures across various assembly tasks, including basic maintenance.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout production.
- Reporting health, safety, quality, or environmental concerns to the Team Leader.
- Logging incidents and near misses, and escalating safety or performance issues as needed.
- Accurately processing orders and maintaining production flow.
- Learning about our products and systems.
- Assembling and wiring electrical components.
- Using hand and pneumatic tools to build power distribution units.
- Performing other duties as assigned by your line manager.
We're seeking motivated individuals with the following skills and attributes:
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar software.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- A practical mindset with an interest in science or engineering.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Dependability, flexibility, and a willingness to learn.
- A positive attitude and good attendance record.
- Convenient location: just an 18-minute walk from Seamer train station.
