This role is 40 hours a week (depending on the candidate). Overtime and on call available at an hourly rate on top (if desired). Salary and hours to be negotiated.

  • safeguarding, safeguarding processes and recognising abuse;
  • keeping good administration records and using a computer daily;
  • handling and de-escalating highly pressured situations;

RESPONSIBILITIES

Leadership

  • Lead by example representing the company values in a positive manner, assisting colleagues to find solutions to problems they experience.

Resident Welfare

  • Working directly with residents on social value activities.
  • Making key decisions and liaising with other managers about resident welfare and support services and helping to manage any high risk incidents.
  • Supporting the Safeguarding Lead in gathering information and making safeguarding referrals.
  • Supporting the Safeguarding Lead in writing risk management plans for residents.
  • Support the Resident Welfare Manager on resident discipline.
  • Developing the service offering for residents alongside the Senior Resident Support Worker (Wellbeing Lead).
  • Submission of partnership intelligence forms.

Stakeholder Liaison

  • Work with management on liaising with partnership agencies, including gaining risk information on residents.
  • Building relationships and attending meetings with partnership agencies.
  • Being responsive to external agencies regarding resident welfare and needs.
