Trainee Machine Operator

Rainham Steel have an exciting opportunity for Trainee Machine Operator to join the team.

Location: Althorpe Wharf, Scunthorpe, DN17 3DA

Salary: From £573.75 per week (£13.50 p/h) depending on experience

Working Hours: 6am -3.30pm, 42.5 hour Per week

As a result of ongoing growth and expansion, Rainham Steel a leading UK steel stockholder requires trainee machine operatives to work at our Althorpe Wharf, Scunthorpe depot. Trainee Machine Operator– The Role:

- Reporting to the warehouse manager

- Maintaining a tidy and safe working environment

- Load the machine, set different shapes and quality check the finished product

- Assemble bundles for packing

- Physically able to cope with reasonable manual handling

- Flexible to do paid overtime when necessary

Trainee Machine Operator– You:

- Outstanding attention to detail

- Excellent communication both verbal and written

- Organised and motivated

- Ability to communicate with a wide range of people

- Able to work in a fast-paced pressurised environment

- You must have a good command of the English language

- Must be a good time keeper
