Stores Operative

Job Title: Stores Operative

Location: Scunthorpe

Hours: Monday - Friday 7am - 3:30pm

Salary: £12.21 per hour, increasing to £12.50 after 12 weeks 

Work Type: Temp to Perm

On behalf of our client we are currently recruiting for a Stores Operative on a temporary basis that could lead to a permanent position . The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the production line and must hold an in date Counterbalance license.

Key Responsibilities 

• Loading and Unloading
• Fulfilling orders for the engineers
• Forklift work
• Location of stock, issuing shortages, stock counts etc.
• Goods inwards and receipting of stock
• Location of stock, issuing shortages, stock counts etc.
• Interacting with material controllers and production staff on daily needs and issues

Skills and Experience

• Proven experience in warehouse operations.
• Current Counterbalance forklift licence is essential
• Good communication & organisational skills
• ERP experience – The ability to learn and use a system correctly
• Time keeping and attendance
