Job Overview:
To support the maintenance team in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the factory. You will work across multiple areas to maintain high standards of safety, reliability, and performance.

Responsibilities:

Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance

  • Implement and manage electrical and mechanical systems to minimise downtime.
  • Develop and maintain a structured PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) program.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment breakdowns promptly.
  • Conduct routine testing, inspections, and maintenance.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and safety.
  • Support management, maintenance, and production teams as required.
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external audit requirements.

Reporting and Collaboration

  • Provide regular updates to the Engineering Manager and other key stakeholders.
  • Work closely with Operations to ensure optimal factory performance.

Skills and Experience Required for the role:

  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Electrician within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Familiarity with Allen-Bradley PLCs, SCADA systems (Citect), and Rockwell software (Studio5000, RS Logix).
  • Knowledge of HMIs, VFDs, sensors, and industrial electrical components.
  • CAD and Factory Talk experience desirable.
