The position offers a salary range of £45,000 - £65,000, depending on experience, and involves responsibilities such as designing HSE programs and conducting risk assessments.
As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, the HSE Manager will collaborate across departments to ensure compliance and best practices are embedded throughout the business.
This strategic role provides the autonomy to shape safety systems and culture, while being part of a supportive leadership team focused on continuous improvement.

What Does the Role Entail?You'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and evolving our health, safety, and environmental programs. As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, you'll collaborate across departments to embed best practice and legislative compliance throughout the business. Your day-to-day will include reviewing HSE policies, conducting risk assessments, leading safety audits, overseeing incident investigations, and delivering internal training. You'll also support commercial and operational teams with tenders, specific industry reviews, and contract mobilisation activities, ensuring robust safety frameworks are in place from the outset.

What Skills Will You Have?You'll bring a solid foundation of HSE expertise, ideally backed by a NEBOSH certificate, experience in ISO auditing, and a strong working knowledge of UK HSE legislation. You'll be confident delivering training, conducting investigations, and advising senior leaders on complex safety matters. Your ability to foster strong relationships, communicate with clarity, and influence at all levels will be essential. Previous experience in field operations, bid preparation, or subcontractor oversight would also be beneficial.
