Salary: £31,650 – £49,084 per annum (depending on experience)
Start Date: September 2025

GSL Education are seeking a talented Computer Science Teacher to join a committed and dynamic school in Scunthorpe. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced educator or a confident practitioner ready to take the next step in their career.
Responsibilities of the Computer Science Teacher:
- Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons in Computer Science across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience is desirable but not essential).
- Use innovative teaching methods to bring coding, algorithms, and computational thinking to life.
- Differentiate learning to ensure progress for students of all abilities.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and resilience.
- Contribute to departmental development and whole-school initiatives.
- Support extra-curricular clubs or events related to IT and digital literacy (desirable but optional).
Requirements for the Computer Science Teacher Role:
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- A degree in Computer Science, ICT, or a related field.
- Proven track record of effective teaching and learning.
- Strong knowledge of curriculum and assessment frameworks.
- Passion for computing and an ability to inspire young minds.
- Excellent behaviour management and organisational skills.
