We're Hiring: Senior Project Officers (2 Roles Available)

We’re looking for two experienced Senior Project Officers to join the councils high-performing Transformation Team within the Outcomes Service Area at North Lincolnshire Council. This is a fantastic opportunity to help shape and deliver some of the most complex, high-impact projects within the organisation.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Senior Project Officer, you'll take a leading role in delivering innovative and complex transformation programmes aligned to  corporate priorities. You'll work closely with service areas, senior leaders, and partners to:

  • Coordinate and manage a wide range of change projects – from discovery through to implementation and embedding into business-as-usual.

  • Develop business cases, financial models, and detailed project documentation.

  • Use insight and data to drive decisions, track benefits, and continuously improve outcomes.

  • Supervise and guide Project Support Officers, ensuring successful delivery and project discipline.

  • Deliver stakeholder engagement and communication strategies for projects.

  • Help shape the future of service delivery across the council.

What We're Looking For

We’re after proactive individuals with strong end-to-end project management experience, ideally in a transformation or public sector setting. You’ll need to show:

  • A solid understanding of programme/project methodologies (Prince2, Agile, etc.)

  • Proven experience of managing change in large, complex environments.

  • Strong analytical, stakeholder engagement, and business case development skills.

  • Creativity, innovation, and resilience in solving problems and managing challenges.

  • Leadership qualities with the ability to supervise and mentor others.

The Role Offers:
  • Pay: £18.72 per hour
