Your new companyAre you passionate about quality and customer satisfaction? We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Quality Assurance professional to join our team on the night shift. In this role, you will be the key point of contact for managing and resolving customer concerns, ensuring our products and services meet the highest standards.

Your new roleAs a Customer Quality Assurance professional, you will oversee non-conforming products and services, raise and track concerns, and manage containment and stock related to customer issues. You will issue and manage 8D/5Y reports, utilise quality tools such as the 5 Why and fishbone diagram, and ensure product traceability. Direct interaction with customers will be a key part of your role, as you manage customer-specific requirements and support the Sales organisation in quality matters. Additionally, you will generate weekly and monthly quality reports, track 8D progress, and manage customer scorecards. Participation in continuous improvement projects and support for internal quality audits will also be expected.

The key performance indicators (KPIs) for this role include 8D handling time, Parts Per Million (PPM) & Complaints Per Million (CPM), Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ), re-charge costs, and line stops. To be successful in this role, you should have problem-solving experience, 5Y/8D experience, an engineering qualification (minimum ONC level), computer literacy, and a valid driving licence. A background in engineering, knowledge of Microsoft Office, familiarity with ISO standards (ISO 14001, ISO 45001, IATF 16949), and experience with quality management systems are desirable.

Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is essential. You will have had experience of working with 8D models in previous roles.
