We are seeking a dedicated Design and Technology Teacher to join a dynamic department in Scunthorpe. This position is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual who is ready to engage students across KS3 and KS4. The role includes comprehensive involvement in lesson planning, teaching, and marking.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Design and Technology lessons to students across KS3 and KS4.
  • Assess and record students' progress and provide grades and feedback to promote strong student development.
  • Adapt teaching materials to meet the needs and abilities of students.
  • Collaborate with other teaching staff to enhance the curriculum and share effective practice.
  • Manage classroom resources and ensure a safe and conducive learning environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent in Design and Technology.
  • Proven experience in teaching Design and Technology at secondary school level.
  • Strong understanding of the national curriculum for KS3 and KS4.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to engage and inspire students.
