The RoleAs an SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering tailored lessons to students with a range of additional needs, ensuring they are supported both academically and emotionally. Your duties will include:
- Creating and implementing individual education plans (IEPs)
- Delivering differentiated lessons to meet diverse learning needs
- Working closely with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and external agencies
- Promoting inclusion and fostering a nurturing learning environment
- Monitoring progress and adapting strategies to support pupil development
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience working with secondary-aged pupils with SEN
- Strong knowledge of SEN strategies and inclusive teaching practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
