As a Complaints Advisor, you will be responsible for managing and resolving client complaints in a professional services setting. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can ensure legal compliance and maintain a high standard of service.

Description

  • To prepare correspondence and documents in response to complaints received by the firm.
  • To investigate and review complaints received by the firm
  • To suggest a strategy, for COLP approval, to resolve complaints including, where appropriate, the appropriate remedy to conclude the matter.
  • Recording and diarising complaints on Case Management systems as appropriate.
  • To administer records and filing relating to complaints matters including updating the complaints log.
  • To make appointments, arrange meetings and to maintain an up-to-date diary
  • To provide support to the practitioners and management as required.
  • To attend clients both in person and on the telephone and to provide such support in a professional and friendly manner in keeping with the firm's standards for client care.
  • To undertake any specific training when required to do so and overall to have a responsibility towards self-development.
  • Other duties commensurate with the post as designated from time to time by the Directors.

Profile

A successful Complaints Advisor should have:

  • Experience in handling complaints within the professional services industry.
  • A strong understanding of legal compliance and regulations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for record-keeping and reporting.
  • The ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
