Job Title: Full-Time General Teaching Assistant (ASAP Start)
Location: Seaford
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday
Contract: Ongoing/Long Term with the Opportunity to Go Permanent

Supply Desk is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic General Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and supportive school in Seaford. This is a full-time, long-term position starting ASAP, with an excellent chance of becoming permanent for the right candidate.
You will support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons, assist pupils with their learning, and help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities-
Assist the class teacher with daily classroom activities

Provide support to pupils in groups and on a 1:1 basis

Help prepare learning materials and resources

Support pupils’ academic progress and wellbeing

Encourage positive behaviour and engagement

Work collaboratively with staff to create a nurturing environment

Experience working with children in an educational or similar setting

A positive, proactive, and supportive approach

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Ability to build good relationships with pupils and staff

A DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one
