EC&I Engineer - Nuclear / Site-Based (Sellafield)
45-50ph | Inside IR35 | 5 Days per Week On Site

We're recruiting for an experienced EC&I Engineer to join major Sellafield projects, supporting the delivery of electrical, control, and instrumentation systems across complex, safety-critical environments.
This role is fully site-based (5 days/week) and ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment, supporting commissioning, Front Office Build (FOB) activities, and real-time problem-solving on active nuclear projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver and review EC&I engineering and installation packages.
  • Provide on-site technical support during commissioning and FOBs.
  • Interface with construction, commissioning, and engineering teams to resolve technical issues.
  • Ensure compliance with nuclear safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
  • Work proactively to drive progress and support schedule-critical activities.


What You'll Need

  • Nuclear industry experience essential - ideally Sellafield project exposure.
  • Strong background in Electrical, Control & Instrumentation Engineering.
  • Experience supporting commissioning, fault finding, and system handover.
  • Knowledge of PLC/SCADA systems, CE&I documentation, and relevant regulations.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently on a busy site.
