THE BUSINESS

Our client has been manufacturing and retailing the finest quality bespoke furniture since 1967, using traditional upholstery method. Based in Northumberland (Seaton Delaval), they are seeking a Sewing Machinist/Upholterer.
 

THE ROLE

Using traditional Upholstery to produce a wide range of furniture, both standard and bespoke.

Working off job specifications

Measuring, cutting and sewing all types of fabric and leather Working to high standards and using very small tolerances

General housekeeping duties

THE PERSON

Close attention to detail

The ideal candidate will have upholstery experience.

Experience working to tight deadlines

Problem solving skills

THE PACKAGE

£21,500

Monday to Friday standard week

Monday to Thursday = 8am to 5pm

Friday = 8am to 1pm

22 days holiday per year plus statutory bank holidays, rising by 1 day for each 3 years of service
