Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable hospitality professional to join the team as a Restaurant Manager atour clients ambitious yet relaxed 18-bedroom gastro hotel, renowned for its commitment to British ingredients, in-house butchery, and a farm-to-table ethos.With a 2 AA Rosette rating and aspirations for a third, they offer a dynamic environment where food knowledge and guest experience are paramount.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily operations of the restaurant and assist with hotel management duties when required.

Collaborate with the Head Chef to ensure seamless service and uphold culinary standards.

Manage and train front-of-house staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.

Coordinate tasting menus and special events, ensuring alignment with our farm-to-table philosophy.

Handle guest inquiries and feedback, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Assist in administrative tasks, including scheduling, inventory management, and compliance with health and safety.

Ideal Candidate:

Proven experience in restaurant or hotel management, preferably within establishments holding AA Rosettes.

Experience in Tasting Menu events

Strong knowledge of British cuisine and a passion for locally sourced ingredients.

Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.

Flexible and adaptable, capable of handling varied responsibilities in a dynamic setting.
