Behaviour Support Assistant – Primary (Full-Time and Part-Time Available)

£445 - £470 per week (salary dependent on experience and/or qualifications)

Are you a compassionate and resilient professional with a passion for supporting children with challenging behaviours?

Vision for Education is currently working with a number of Primary schools across Sefton who are seeking dedicated Behaviour Support Assistants to provide tailored 1:1 and small group support. These roles are focused on helping children with additional behavioural needs to succeed both personally and academically.

We have both full-time and part-time opportunities available, and we will discuss your preferences during registration. There is a strong demand across Sefton for staff who are confident in using positive behaviour management strategies and who can build trusting, supportive relationships with pupils.

Requirements
The successful Behaviour Support Assistant will have:

  • Previous experience working with children in a school or care setting

  • Experience supporting children with challenging behaviour and/or SEN on a 1:1 or small group basis

  • A passion for helping pupils develop their learning and wellbeing

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with staff and other professionals

  • A willingness to undergo (or already hold) an Enhanced DBS check
