Based in Dinorwig, Wales
6 month contract opportunity (possibility of contract extension)

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure work is executed in a safe manner meeting legal guidelines set out in health safety and requirements and environmental compliance
- Ensure all permits ready for site work to commence
- Day to day management of a section of works including the supervision and monitoring of the site team and supply chain
- Write and Approve method statements and risk assessments and ensure they are being followed throughout the works
- Manage site activities to ensure work is completed on time and within budget
- Guide and coach subordinates in technical requirements and techniques of setting out
- Deliver end product to customer satisfaction
- Management of Section Engineers, Site Engineers, Section Managers and Foreman
- Drive construction phase of the project
- Implement appropriate policies and procedures
- Ensure works are completed on time, within budget and to specification
- Develop and promote best practice and business improvement within the organisation
REQUIREMENTS:
- Previously worked on heavy civil based projects
- Worked for or alongside Tier 1 contractors
- Able to lead team and section of works to a high standard
- Previous experience working as a Section Engineer / Sub Agent or similar positions
- Previously managed site teams & packages of work
- Relevant industry qualification (HND/HNC/BEng or equivalent)
- Holds relevant tickets/qualifications. i.e. CSCS, SMSTS
- Able to produce and explain accurate plans and drawings
