Description
- Prepare and analyse financial statements and reports to support key business decisions.
- Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end reporting processes.
- Monitor budgets and forecasts, providing variance analysis and recommendations.
- Manage and improve financial controls and accounting procedures.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
- Support the preparation of tax filings and liaise with external auditors as required.
- Assist in the development of cost-saving initiatives and performance improvements.
- Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making within the FMCG industry.
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
- A recognised professional accounting qualification or equivalent experience in Accounting & Finance.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and financial analysis skills.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis within the FMCG sector or similar industries.
- Proficiency in financial systems and tools, with excellent Excel skills.
- An analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy in reporting.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
Job Offer
- Competitive salary range of 35,000 to 40,000 per annum.
