An exciting opportunity for a Practice Trained Accountant to join a successful and established independent firm of Chartered Accountants based in North Kent. They are seeking someone who can develop and grow the business, to advance their career to a senior position.Â
Responsibilities of the Accountant role
- Preparation and finalisation of limited company, sole trader, and partnership accounts
- Preparation and finalisation of Management Accounts
- Preparation and finalisation of personal tax computations and returns
- Liaising with clients on financial and taxation matters
- Assisting with VAT, Payroll & CIS when required
- Managing a portfolio of clients
- Produce Accounts for Charities, Sole Traders and Partnerships
- Liaise with HMRC and other outside agents
Requirements of the Accountant role
- Fully Qualified ACA or ACCA with two years minimum post-qualified experience working in an Accountancy Practice
- First-rate systems skills, QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, MS Excel
- Highly organised with first-rate communicationÂ
