Description
- Prepare and present accurate monthly management accounts and financial reports.
- Monitor budgets and forecasts, providing insights to support strategic planning.
- Analyse financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Support the preparation of year-end accounts and liaise with external auditors.
- Oversee the reconciliation of accounts and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Assist with the implementation of financial systems and process improvements.
- Provide guidance to junior team members within the accounting and finance department.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial alignment across the organisation.
Profile
- The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of accounting principles and will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, including preparation of journals, managing control accounts, and performing regular balance sheet reconciliations
- AAT , CIMA , ACCA Studier
- Proven experience in management accounting within the business services industry.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel / Data manipulation
- Knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping and accounting standards.
- Experience preparing journals and performing balance sheet reconciliations.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
- The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities effectively.
