Senior Management Accountant (Remote/Hybrid)?? Salary: £42,000 – £45,000 (DOE)?? Hybrid (based near Sevenoaks) | Remote-first team?? Full-time | Flexitime | Mon–FriA progressive, remote-first accountancy firm is seeking an experienced Senior Management Accountant to join its agile and close-knit team. The RoleThe successful candidate will bring strong technical expertise and a collaborative mindset to support junior team members, liaise with clients, and deliver high-quality financial reporting and advisory services.?? Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • ACA or ACCA qualification
  • Minimum of 5 years’ practice experience
  • Proficiency in TaxCalc, Iris, and Xero
  • Solid experience in preparing statutory accounts, CT600 returns, and Self Assessments
?? Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review statutory accounts and corporation tax returns (CT600)
  • Review and guide junior accountants’ workflows
  • Manage and maintain relationships with overseas teams �?
  • Review Self Assessment returns
  • Provide client-facing financial advisory services ??
  • Prepare management accounts, reports, and commentary (monthly/quarterly)
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and tax policies
  • Handle HMRC correspondence and support audits
  • Participate in internal and client meetings
  • Conduct bookkeeping checks and internal accounting audits
  • Contribute to team training and process improvements
