It’s an excellent opportunity to broaden your expertise and progress your professional journey with a firm that offers genuine long-term growth.Role Overview:This Bookkeeper position within a reputable firm of Chartered Accountants involves overseeing a portfolio of clients and managing a range of key financial responsibilities, including:
  • Routine bookkeeping using platforms such as Sage, QuickBooks, and Xero – preparing records up to trial balance
  • Compiling monthly financial summaries
  • Preparing and submitting VAT returns
  • Reconciling bank transactions
  • Resolving client queries and collaborating closely with senior colleagues and accountants
Candidate Specification: To thrive in this role, you’ll ideally bring:
  • A firm grasp of VAT regulations and double-entry bookkeeping, preferably acquired within a professional accountancy environment
  • A hands-on and adaptable approach, coupled with strong organisational and time-keeping skills
  • The ability to perform well under pressure and excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with clients
