Venn Group are currently partnering with a high achieving Housing Association who are looking for an Interim Data Protection Officer to join their team.
Job title:Â Â Â Â Â Â Data Protection Officer
Contract:Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â 3 months (initially)
Rate:        £240 – £260 per day
Location:Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Kent
Duties:
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Lead on all matters surrounding data protection, ensuring compliance with legislation and regulatory requirements
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Review data protection documentation and develop new policies
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Provide advice and training and ensure the business is kept up to date with changes
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Take responsibility with Audits, lead on investigations and mitigate risks
Experience:
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Knowledge of housing policy and legislative and regulatory environments (desirable)
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Experience of analysing and interpreting legislation
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Relevant data protection qualification
