Graduate Civil Engineer

Based in Sevenoaks, this is an ideal role for a recent graduate eager to launch their civil engineering career in a supportive and development-focused environment.

This position offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced directors, engineers, and technicians across a diverse portfolio of projects in the commercial, residential, retail, and industrial sectors. You will be supported with mentoring, structured training, and clear pathways to professional accreditation, including ICE chartership.

• Assist in the design and development of infrastructure projects including drainage (SUDS) and adoptable roads.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure timely delivery of high-quality work.
• Liaise with statutory bodies including water authorities and local councils.
• Utilise industry-standard software such as AutoCAD and relevant design tools for technical analysis and modelling.
• Attend and contribute to project meetings, design reviews, and on-site inspections.
• Prepare and manage accurate technical documentation, including reports, drawings, and calculations.
• Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, and other project stakeholders.
• Maintain adherence to project budgets and schedules.

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• A proactive attitude, with a willingness to learn and grow.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Keen interest in pursuing professional accreditation with a recognised engineering body (e.g., ICE).

• Competitive salary: £28,000 - £32,000
