Account Reconciliation Manager | Up to £60k | West Kent (hybrid working)

We are delighted to be working with our national client with an industry-leading presence. They are a company that prides themselves on having a fantastic reputation and are looking for someone who is commercially minded who can build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. This role is expected to lead a new team and project to oversee a reconciliation project within the business.

Responsibilities Include -

  • Overseeing and managing the reconciliation project, ensuring that reconciliation processes comply with relevant regulations and internal policies, assigning accounts to be reconciled, and monitoring progress.
  • Managing a small team.
  • Working to resolve discrepancies, collaborating with other departments and stakeholders, to ensure a successful and accurate outcome for each account.
  • Establish and maintain client relationships, helping to maximise cash collections.
  • Preparing reports and analysing reconciliation data to identify trends, impact, potential risks, and areas for improvement.
  • Working with large data sets from multiple sources to ensure accuracy of each account reconciliation.

The Ideal Candidate -

  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified - or qualified by experience
  • A commercially minded individual
  • The ideal candidate will have experience managing a small team
  • A confident communicator who is a natural problem-solver
  • Due to the role being contract, the ideal candidate will be able to start a new role immediately.
