Our client is a leading player in the highways industry, currently looking for a Senior Engineer specialising in traffic management to join their team on a contract basis. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on high-impact projects that enhance road safety and traffic flow.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing traffic engineering projects from concept through to completion
  • Developing and implementing traffic management schemes
  • Conducting traffic impact assessments and recommending solutions
  • Collaborating with local authorities, contractors, and other stakeholders
  • Supervising and mentoring junior engineers and technical staff
  • Preparing detailed reports, technical notes, and presentations
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety standards
  • Monitoring project progress and managing budgets effectively


Job Requirements:

  • Significant experience in traffic engineering and highways projects
  • Strong understanding of traffic management principles and best practices
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills
