Exclusive to TPF Recruitment, Kent’s leading accountancy practice recruitment agency; we have an opportunity for an Accounts & Tax Manager to join a highly regarded, modern chartered accountancy practice based in Sevenoaks.

 This independent, multi-sited firm of chartered accountants offers an excellent opportunity! As an Accounts & Tax Manager, you will collaborate with other managers and oversee a diverse client portfolio, including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies. You will have the flexibility to manage your portfolio independently while working closely with a skilled team of managers and partners.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing a varied client portfolio
  • Reviewing and preparing statutory accounts
  • Creating income and expenditure accounts for clients as needed
  • Overseeing bookkeeping and organising accounting records
  • Reviewing, preparing, and submitting VAT returns
  • Preparing and submitting personal and corporate tax returns
  • Providing outstanding client service by addressing queries and offering support
  • Collaborating with senior management, including assisting Partners on projects
  • Contributing to the firm’s growth by retaining existing clients and fostering relationships with potential clients
Requirements

Accounts & Tax Manager Sevenoaks

  • You will be ACA/ACCA or qualified by experience with at least 5 years’ experience within practice
  • You will have worked as a Team Leader/ Client Manager/ Manager within a practice environment and have hands on experience of accounts and tax returns
  • Experience of general tax planning would be advantageous
  • Open to part time and full time applicants

  • £50,000 - £60,000, based on experience and qualification
