Role Overview: The successful candidate will support the Tax Manager in delivering high-quality tax services to a wide portfolio of clients, including individuals, partnerships and companies. They will be involved in both compliance and advisory work, helping to ensure clients meet their tax obligations while identifying planning opportunities.?? Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparing and reviewing personal and corporate tax returns 
  • Assisting with tax planning and advisory work for a range of clients 
  • Liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients and managing correspondence 
  • Supporting junior staff and reviewing their work where required 
  • Working closely with partners and managers on more complex tax matters 
  • Keeping up to date with changes in tax legislation and best practice 
  • Helping to build and maintain strong client relationships 
? What They're Looking For:
  • ATT qualified (CTA desirable or willing to study) 
  • Strong knowledge of UK tax legislation, both personal and corporate
  • Experience working within a UK accountancy practice
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage deadlines
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to support the wider team
  • Competent in tax software and Microsoft Office
