My client, a leading Financial Services company based in West Kent, is seeking an experienced HR Manager with strong interpersonal skills to join their team.
In this role, you will lead a small HR team while acting as a true HR generalist, supporting and driving initiatives that make a real difference across the workforce.
Duties include:
- Working closely with leadership teams to align people strategies with business needs.
- Supporting monthly payroll processes in partnership with Finance and contributing to longer-term payroll system improvements
- Driving initiatives for succession planning, talent management, and employee engagement.
- Mentoring and developing a small HR team to build capability and ensure excellent service delivery
- Develop, review, and update HR policies and procedures to enhance performance, minimise disputes
The successful candidate must have/be:
- Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Solid background in HR management or advisory roles
- Experience within the Financial Services sector (preferred but not essential)
- CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent professional certification)
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities
