My client, a leading Financial Services company based in West Kent, is seeking an experienced HR Manager with strong interpersonal skills to join their team.

In this role, you will lead a small HR team while acting as a true HR generalist, supporting and driving initiatives that make a real difference across the workforce.

Duties include:

  • Working closely with leadership teams to align people strategies with business needs.
  • Supporting monthly payroll processes in partnership with Finance and contributing to longer-term payroll system improvements
  • Driving initiatives for succession planning, talent management, and employee engagement.
  • Mentoring and developing a small HR team to build capability and ensure excellent service delivery
  • Develop, review, and update HR policies and procedures to enhance performance, minimise disputes

The successful candidate must have/be:

  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Solid background in HR management or advisory roles
  • Experience within the Financial Services sector (preferred but not essential)
  • CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent professional certification)
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities
