Pay/rate: 130 - 200 per day - dependent on role
About the role
At term time teachers we are seeking an inspiring and creative Music Teacher as part of our growing agency to join a thriving Music Department at a fantastic school in the Sevenoaks area. This is an exciting opportunity to ignite student's musical potential.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and assess work efficiently, providing children feedback to support their academic progress in the music department.
- Experience teaching music relating to the curriculum.
- Promote a love of music by encouraging creativity and musical exploration in students of all abilities.
Minimum Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching music in UK secondary schools
- An Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willing to apply for one)
- Strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management skills
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- Hold the right to work in the UK
