We are seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher to join a dynamic team in Tonbridge. The position starts in September and runs until December, offering a competitive daily rate.
Day-to-day of the role:- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality mathematics lessons that engage and challenge students across various year groups.
- Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
- Use a range of instructional techniques and media consistent with available resources and student needs and capabilities.
- Adapt teaching materials and methods to meet the varying interests and learning styles of students.
- Manage student behavior in the classroom by establishing and enforcing rules and procedures.
- Maintain discipline in accordance with the rules and disciplinary systems of the school.
- Participate in departmental meetings, parent meetings, and whole school training events.
- Provide appropriate feedback on work and offer constructive suggestions for improvement.
- Keep up to date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience teaching Maths at a secondary school level.
- Strong knowledge of the current Maths curriculum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Good organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to foster a stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
