We are seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher to join a dynamic team in Tonbridge. Day-to-day of the role:
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality mathematics lessons that engage and challenge students across various year groups.
  • Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
  • Use a range of instructional techniques and media consistent with available resources and student needs and capabilities.
  • Adapt teaching materials and methods to meet the varying interests and learning styles of students.
  • Manage student behavior in the classroom by establishing and enforcing rules and procedures.
  • Maintain discipline in accordance with the rules and disciplinary systems of the school.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, parent meetings, and whole school training events.
  • Provide appropriate feedback on work and offer constructive suggestions for improvement.
  • Keep up to date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience teaching Maths at a secondary school level.
  • Strong knowledge of the current Maths curriculum.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Good organisational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to foster a stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
