- Manage a portfolio of tenancies across all tenures, delivering tailored, proactive housing services.
- Support new tenants to settle into their homes and understand their responsibilities.
- Handle tenancy changes, including transfers, mutual exchanges, and under-occupation.
- Respond to and manage reports of anti-social behaviour, safeguarding, and tenancy breaches.
- Prepare legal documentation and attend court where necessary.
- Conduct estate inspections and take action to improve environmental conditions.
- Promote tenant engagement and connect residents with training, employment, and financial wellbeing resources.
- Previous experience in a similar Housing Officer or Tenancy Officer role is essential.
- Strong understanding of housing legislation and best practice.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Able to manage complex cases under pressure and meet performance targets.
- IT literate with experience in using housing or CRM systems.
