The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Delivery Manager to oversee our repairs service across four sites. In this role, you will:
- Manage all aspects of the repairs service, including out-of-hours support and subcontractor performance.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Oversee budgets, drive efficiencies, and proactively implement business improvements.
- Monitor performance indicators, analyse trends, and take corrective action to enhance service delivery.
- Create reports and present to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead a multi-disciplinary team, fostering a positive and supportive working environment.
- Manage complex reactive repairs and voids maintenance.
- Engage with customers transparently and drive improvements through strong stakeholder collaboration.
- Undertake necessary training to become the Responsible Person for Legionella and asbestos compliance.
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Sound knowledge of repairs and maintenance services, relevant regulations, and British Standards.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Experience in performance management, budget control, and service improvement.
- Professional qualifications such as CIOB or RICS (desirable).
- Extensive experience in a comparable role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Health & Safety qualifications (NEBOSH/IOSH).
- Expertise in permit-to-work and risk assessments.
