Job Description

Thrive Trowbridge are delighted to be working with our prestigious client based in the Shaftesbury area who are recruiting for a Risk and Compliance Manager (legal) on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities :

  • In this varied role you will be responsible for compliance and financial risk management within the firm
  • Day to day compliance management, mitigating and managing risk
  • Ensuring regulatory obligations are upheld and professional practice standards remain compliant
  • Designing and implementing policies and procedures
  • Compliance reporting
  • Management of the Firm's Quality marks

What you will need to succeed:

  • Previous compliance and risk management within the legal sector is essential
  • Knowledge of SAR and AML as well as other relevant legal, financial and data protection legislation and frameworks
  • First rate communication skills at all levels together with a hands-on, positive approach
  • The ability to prioritise with excellent attention to detail
  • Proficiency in MS Office and practice management systems is also essential
